Teams and Coaches,
We are excited to announce one important change/addition that will make the tournament more enjoyable for everyone. We recently added an official
Host Hotel: Hampton Inn 1530 Hamner Ave. Norco, CA 92860; (951) 279-1111
(part of the Hilton Hotel network). You can visit their
website to check them out.
The Hotel will be our official Host Hotel with a Coach’s Hospitality Room. The rooms will be discounted to $69 per night.
Just mention the March Gladness Tournament and you will get the discount rate. I know many of you have used other hotels in the
past but we encourage you to use the Hampton this year as they are offering many amenities including a full breakfast and the
option to have breakfast bags to go. In addition, this will be our headquarters for coach check in, coaches meetings, hospitality,
and tournament game updates.
The hospitality room will be stocked with refreshments and food. During the lunch and dinner hours they will provide free Pizza
and drinks for coach’s. We will continue to have a hospitality room for coaches at the Grove Community Church. So, if you are
on that side of town in Riverside you have an optional hospitality room.
Mandatory Coaches Meeting(s): (please disregard the coach meeting at Roosevelt High School and attend one of
the ones listed below at Hampton)
Each individual team is required to send at minimum one coach to one of the mandatory meetings. The meetings will be held
this year at our host hotel;

Wed March 24th at 2:00pm
Wed March 24th at 11:00pm (after the opening ceremonies)
Thurs March 25th at 10:00pm
Showcase/Opening Ceremonies (all teams) Wednesday 6:00pm March 24th

3pt contest for Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls on Wed. evening March 24th
Enter two names per each varsity team and one per each JV team:
For 3pt shooting we will use your team status from your season; such as, JV and Varsity to
determine who is eligible for the contest.

All Star Game for Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls on Wed. evening March 24
Enter three names per each varsity team:
For all star selection we will use your team status from your season; such as, JV and Varsity to
determine who is eligible for the contest.

When you sign up include name, position, team, and stats. You must submit stats that include: points,
rebounds, assists, steals, turnovers. Rate the two players by ability, #1 player, #2 player, #3 player. Your #1 player
will automatically play in the all star game. Players #2 and #3 will be selected depending on the amount of
teams entered in the tournament.

Championship Games: Varsity Girls 2:30, Varsity Boys 4:00
Awards: 5:30 or immediately following the Varsity Boys game. (All teams will be recognized and
all ages will receive all tournament awards)
