- A home school athlete eligible for league play is one; who is taught at home by his parents, grandparents,
older sibling of at least 18 years of age, or legal guardian at least 51% of the time.
- The percentage of classes that are taught at someone else’s home or a central location by someone not listed
in number ‘5’ above must not be more than 50% of the courses being taught for each individual athlete.
- A player is not home schooled 51% if they are enrolled in multiple classes that are in a non-home-school setting
such as public school, private school, or college courses. These courses must clearly be less than the 51% of the
home-schooled courses.
- Home schooled does not mean college classes, vocational classes, private school classes, Christian school classes,
or public school classes.
- All teams entering the tournament must have players that have played with them for a minimum of half the regular season.
- Any student transferring from a public school, Christian school, private school, or other home school team, that
has been expelled or removed from an athletic team for disciplinary reasons must set out one year before they are
eligible to participate in a sanctioned sport. All other transfer students shall be immediately eligible for participation.
- Exceptions for a hardship case may be requested for the transfer rule above.
- It shall be considered illegal for any home school organization or team to, for the purpose of participating
in athletics, recruit a public or private schooled child by setting up a situation where the child would be taught
by another home school parent.
